We are available to help explain and arrange both a secular and religious unveiling, although many families decide to have an unveiling without contacting a funeral home.

An unveiling is a graveside religious ceremony marking the formal setting of a loved one’s headstone at the cemetery. It is an American custom, recent in origin, borrowed and adapted from American culture. We can supply you with all the necessary prayers and psalms, both in Hebrew and English, normally recited at an unveiling. If you are concerned about a clean and appropriate cloth on the monument or footstone for the day of the unveiling, feel free to call us a few days prior and we will ensure that an appropriate cloth will be there.

Contact our Funeral Home about arranging an unveiling.
