Understanding Expenses

The Federal Trade Commission has created two forms pertaining to funeral expenses. One of these forms is called the General Price List (GPL) and the other Statement of Funeral Services and Goods Selected. Federal Law mandates that we physically hand you a copy of the general price list as we begin the arrangement process, whether it be at–need or pre–need. The General Price List contains information pertaining to various items and services this funeral home can offer you and the fees associated with them.

The second form we will give you, the Statement of Funeral Services and Goods Selected, will be given once all of the arrangements have been completed. Unlike the GPL, this will be unique to the funeral you have arranged. We will need you to sign this form as the law requires.
