Donald M. Miller, 91 Donald Max Miller, age 91, died in his home in North Branford Ct on January 14, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He grew up in Rockville Centre, NY, and was a 1954 graduate of Colgate University. He served in the US Air Force immediately following his graduation. He married Carol Pivar in 1954 and celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary 3 weeks before his death. Mr. Miller was an avid sportsman, active throughout his life in sailing, skiing, rock-climbing, soaring, fly-fishing, tennis and running. His passion became restoration and racing of vintage race cars, and he competed at Lime Rock, Watkins Glenn, and other race tracks through the Northeast through his 70’s. Throughout his life he was a successful insurance executive with CIGNA. He is survived by his wife, Carol, and their three children, Janis, Ken and Jeff. He is also survived by his grandchildren Stephanie (Mitchell), Katie, Melanie and Nadya, and his daughters in law, Yumi and Karen.
