I knew Thea from our time at Scribes inc. And had enjoyed many ‘New Haven Restaurant Week’ lunch and dinners with her. She was sweet, caring, thoughtful, and so proud of her daughters and granddaughters. Thea will be remembered fondly, and greatly missed. You have a true heart of gold, my friend.

A lovely service and wonderful tribute to Thea today. I was lucky enough to work with Thea these last few years providing CART/captions for the hard of hearing communities. She was a pleasure to work with and we had so many quirky, fun assignments. She was always game for the challenge! Thea was smart, tenacious and gracious. All of us who worked with her send our condolences to you, the family. May peace find you sooner rather than later. We will miss her.

Steph and Lex, We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was not only kind and generous, she was also thoughtful and selfless. She loved you so much, and was very proud of her girls.
Thea was a cousin, and a good friend. We can’t believe she’s gone. The world needs more loving, caring, and giving people like her.
Take care of yourselves and each other. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Stephanie, Alexis, Nancy, and Aunt Martha, It is with a very heavy heart that I say how very shocked I was to hear of my cousin Thea’s passing. She was one of the most loving and caring people I have ever known. Even though I lived on the other side of the country, whenever I came to Connecticut she was there and we were able to visit. We were so thrilled just a few months ago to be able to have a zoom get together with the family which she set up for us. She will be terribly missed. My love and my sincere sympathy go to you all.

I am so very saddened to learn of Thea’s passing. She warmly welcomed me into her home many years ago when I was a young college student. I’m glad we got to reconnect recently before her passing.

I met Thea at a court reporters convention more than 20 years ago and within 5 minutes we became the best of friends. She was a woman with a hugh capacity to love. I’m a better person for knowing her and saddened knowing she’s gone.
