Mrs. Zamkov was a special and a wonderful person to me. I miss her! She was my best friend and someone I deeply cared for over many, many years. She might be gone from my sight but never gone from my heart. Loved and remembered she will remain!

Such fond memories of Mrs. Zamkov as my Hebrew school teacher at Keser Israel. She was a strong Zionist and instilled a love for Eretz Y’Israel that continues today. My sympathy to her family.

Mrs. Zamkov was my first and most memorable Hebrew School teacher at Keser Israel. She was completely dedicated to instilling a love for Judaism and learning Hebrew to her students. I continued studying Hebrew at the then Hebrew High School at the JCC and at Hillhouse. I credit Mrs. Zamkov with my decisions. The memory of her recalls all of the lives she’s touched and influenced. Her memory is a blessing.

I loved Mrs. Zamkov as a teacher at Keser Israel and as a model of someone with a deep commitment to Judaism and to Israel. I offer my prayers and condolences to her family.

Mrs. Zamkov was my first Hebrew School teacher at Temple Keser Israel, in approximately 1961. In the free-time period, she taught Israeli folk dancing. The last time I saw her was a few years ago at a Holocaust memorial session at the Connecticut State Capitol Building. May her memory be for a blessing for her family.
