My son Eliyahu and Dovid’s son Yossi are traveling now to the tomb of the Matriarch Rachel where they will pray for Rivka Devora bas Sarah Leah, your beloved mother and our beloved Tante Ruthie. May her soul find eternal peace in Gan Eden.
My mother is heartbroken; feels like she lost her 2nd mom. When we spoke last night, she told me how your mom took care of her all the years growing up. No one was kinder, warmer or more sincere and loving than Tante Ruthie.
Sending hugs to my dear cousins.
I see a zoom link and sent it to family who can’t be there.
Love Miriam

Shelly, Arnie, Stevie and Naomi: I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom. I spent many hours discussing nutrition and recounting the life of Ruthie Lehrer with Ruthie. I heard many stories about her life events from the time she was a young woman through the passing of her husband who I never had the pleasure of meeting. I know one thing for sure: Shelly and Arnie you were the bright lights of her life. No one was more beautiful than Shelly, and no one was more revered than Arnie. Shelly, Stevie, Arnie and Naomi no one could have taken better care or been more loving than you all. I came to love your Mother and will always remember our time together and the wisdom that she shared. May Ruthie’s memory be for a blessing. ?? Love, Ronni

Arnie and Shelly,
Sadness abounds. It wasn’t so long ago that we grieved the loss of her husband, your dad and our uncle Irwin.I take comfort that Aunt Ruthie’s neshama rests with her sisters Aunt Sophie and my mom Jeni. They join in G-d’s Kingdom together again. I still miss their banter over what food is healthiest. She leaves a great legacy of loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Arnie and Shelly, there are no words of comfort that I can think of to ease your pain. I wish I could. I am so very sorry and saddened by her passing.
Love Linda
