Richard was a deeply curious and kind person. I so loved the INTEREST he took in me, the love I felt from him. If I mattered to Ryan, I mattered to him, because BOY did he love his family, his people, his clan. No matter how much he explored the world and delighted in learning about what was out there, he so cherished his family. I didn’t grow up with grandpas, and I was so grateful that he treated me like his own. With honesty, opinions, and pride. I will miss him very much, and have so much love for this family.
