My deepest sympathies to the family of my friend, Phyllis Trager. I have known Phyllis for the past 13 yrs. and she was the sweetest lady of all. I parked in front of her house while doing my duties as a crossing guard for Pagels School and she would offer me hot tea on a cold day, inquire about my well being and my family. The past few years we looked forward to the end of the school year because I would take Phyllis out to lunch and we would sit and talk for a couple of hours. I am going to miss seeing her gentle smiling face. May she rest in peace with her beloved husband.

Dear Jane, Art, Josh, JJ, Bev, Brad, and the rest of the family –
Phyllis was more than a neighbor to me and my parents; she was another member of our expansive extended family. She welcomed us into the neighborhood while also giving my mom the greatest best friend she could ask for, and I’ll always be thankful for that. She was a warm, gracious spirit during every Passover dinner and would always offer a smile whenever we saw each other. The world lost an incredible woman and I’ll be sure to remember her as the kindest person I’ve ever met.
