Been many years since we were friendly but always remembered as someone who was always known as a very nice and very grounded person. Knowing Mac and Adele made it easy to see why Peter was such a good guy. My condolences to Richard (long time) and Peter’s whole family.

Dear Patty & Richard,
I was so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing
yesterday. Peter was such a gentleman, and I will always remember him with his grinning smile! I’m sure he will be terribly missed by you both and the rest of the family. I remember vividly on one occasion trying on sport coats at Rosenberg’s. Peter assisted by Richard, put several aside, and when one of them fit well and looked good on me the familiar words were spoken, “That’s a winner!” Something tells me that was a family Rosenberg expression passed down from Mack to his sons Peter and Richard. Richard, maybe you can drop me a line with the answer…Patty & Richard, stay healthy and strong during these difficult times. Warmest personal regards,
Michael Belfonti

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Peter’s passing. A life long friend,he was
one of the good guys. Peter was always entertaining and could get you to crack a smile eve for the most outrageous of things he would tell you, I will miss his stories
And he will definitely be missed.

While I have not spoken to Peter in over 35 years, he made an indelible impression on me when I first walked into Rosenberg’s to sell him some neckties. With Mac admonishing me and anyone else who thought a salesman should get their parking ticket validated from him in the Tyco parking lot next store when they came to sell their wares, Peter took the time to show me how a clothing salesman should sell. He possessed incredible taste in clothing, wore it all quite casually (even though you knew a lot of time had gone into his selections), and always took the time to to teach me how clothing buyers like to be sold as well. He was the consummate salesman in an era when that meant something.

May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
