Deb, Beth and Ken, I am so sad I couldn’t be there with you all to pay respects to your mother. She was an important person in my young life–always there to listen and give me guidance when things were tough with my parents. I have such clear memories of her and deep love and appreciation. And you know my mother loved her so much.
There are no words for the feelings that come when one loses a mother. This is my experience. Just know that my thoughts are with you during this profound time.

Beth, Debbie and Ken:
I am soooo sorry for your loss. I had the extremely great pleasure (thanks to Debbie) of calling your mother in Florida three years ago and having a wonderful talk with her. Oh,yes, she remembered me and it was like there were no years in between. Also, I literally see and feel things in the past as yesterday. Like when I went up to your door, rang the bell and your mother answered, told me she got back from the hospital and wanted to introduce me to a new Rosen. She took me in and introduced me to a little baby named Ken. Or, how she and my mom would sit with aluminum reflectors soaking in the sun for hours at the Woodbridge Country Club, her coming over to visit and times my mother, Fran Egalka and her were upstairs talking while the little Gandelmans, Rosens and Egalkas were downstairs. After our reunion in Boston 4 years ago, I realized all of you have the very best qualities of your mother in you. I’m so sorry for your loss and all of our loss..but so grateful that each day you’re all bringing your mother’s wonderful qualities into the world.

Dear Debbie, Beth and Ken ( and extended family),

My deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother. I have fond memories of our young lives at Knollwood/Mumford. Your Mom always made us feel welcomed in your home. Needless to say, her deep friendship with my Aunt Helen Gandelman remains clear in my mind. My Mom Mickie (also a Muriel) and Helen played cards and golf together with your Mom in those days long ago!

Most Sincerely,
