Dear Leah and Paul, Gary and Barbara,
All our sympathy to you and your family for the loss of Mikki. It was a pleasure to know her and enjoy her company. She was so upbeat and positive and blessed with a great sense of humor. She certainly had a life well lived. Surely her memory will be cherished by the many people whose lives she touched. We’re very sorry for your loss. Love, Mary and Rick Everett

Dear Ratner Family,
Although we did not personally know Mikki, we knew Artie and Betsy and the love they shared of each other and of you. I have heard so many beautiful stories about you that I know you will continue to shine light and love on your family.
You will be missed but the love will never fade.
Loving condolences from
Fern and Roger Tausig

I have such warm memories of Mikki. I loved popping in to visit her and hearing interesting stories of her life. Mikki was always so pleasant and positive and it was easy to understand how the close group of strong BEKI sisterhood women achieved so much in support of the synagogue and Women’s League of Conservative Judaism. Mikki was a true inspiration. Ultimately when Mikki retired from the BEKI sisterhood treasury position, I marvelled at her meticulously kept records. Mikki volunteered with an inspiring generation of women and her memory will always shine in our hearts. Affectionately, Jessey Palumbo and all BEKI sisterhood members and friends.

I am very sorry to hear of Mikki’s passing. She was a wise, cool lady, who raised great kids to have exceptional integrity and deep empathy. I was very fond of Mikki. You have a wealth of special memories— times of laughter, accomplishment, overcoming obstacles, fun, and love— to sustain you through the most difficult days. I don’t know how this works, but maybe Uncle Max will be there to welcome “mom” with some strange, smile-inducing comments.
Love,
Rick Kaletsky (& Laurie)

Dear Gary and family,

So many years ago, I had the good fortune to get to know Mikki, and my warm feelings for her have endured since the beginning of our own friendship (7th grade Sheridan) until now. I am sad that she has passed, and in offering my condolences, am heartened that she lived so full and rewarding life. Be well, my friend.

I have been very fortunate to get to know Mikki over the past decades in our shared BEKI community. She has been an inspiration in her dedication, strength, and kindness, all delivered with intelligence and humor.

Mikki will be missed at our home,,,but only physically, the pillow, apron, and cookbook she gave us will be treasured. We remember her sitting in the family room that Artie made for us. With love, Phyllis and Phyllis Schnitman

Dear Ratners,
We all will miss Gramma Mikki in our family. Just recently we pulled out dolls and aprons she made for our girls—all beautifully sewed and handmade one-of-kind items. Mikki was fun, warm, handy, and loving. She was very special to me as our “surrogate grandma” as she would say, and her memory will stay alive with us.
Love,
Emilie (Schnitman) Liebhoff & Family
