How sad that the sun is starting to set on this generation of woodmont originals. We were all so lucky to enjoy the blended families we became during the summers. Lydia was a vital and vibrant part of that family. She will be missed by all.
How can it be! I thought she’d live forever! I have best picture of her at my wedding. Always the life of the party and the hostess, willing or not in Woodmont!
Sending love to all of you,
Andrea Perlman

Marc, Carol, Nancy and family…. Our Moms went back many years and I appreciate your remembering my Mom in your eulogy. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
Caryl, Marc, Nancy and the entire family, Just wanted to say again how sorry we were about Lydia’s passing. She was quite a lady, class act and always enjoyed seeing her whenever our paths crossed. Watching her on the dance floor was a treat. She would have had quite a birthday party for 100. Enjoy your memories and her long wonderful life.
With our deepest sympathy, Carol & Joel
Marc, Nancy, Kim, David, Lynn, Carol, Sam and Matthew,

Dear Caryl, Marc, Nancy, Kim, David and family. Regardless of the age of the person that passed away it’s always a loss .Marc please share with everyone the prayer or poem or whatever it is that you got at Donald’s funeral.. I could always count on Aunt Lydia to let me know what was going on with everyone in New Haven. I always looked forward to our trips to Florida every year so I would be able to spend time with her. I remember from the time we lived in New Haven to the times we were with her in Florida she was always the beautiful perfect hostess. .Marc, thank you so much for pointing out to me that I am now at the “TOP OF THE HILL” I will miss he so much.
I am sorry to hear about Lydia’s passing. May you find comfort in remembering all the good times that you had together.
Dear Marc, Nancy and Caryl,
Your wonderful mom, Lydia, was my original next door neighbor, as were you and your dad, Marc. I never forgot her; she never forgot me. Her warmth when I saw her was marvelous and really cheered my heart each time. I am so glad that she got so many years with such a wonderful family. I will remember her always and send my best love to you all.
To Caryl, Marc and the entire Olins family,
Our thoughts are with you during this sad time. Lydia was a good friend to our mother for decades, and will be remembered with fondness for the caring she always showed. 100 amazing years for a most amazing woman. May your memories be a blessing. Our deepest condolences,
