Deepest sympathies from my family to yours. My two brothers and I have the fondest memories of Lea, who was my mother Anita Lerman’s lawyer toward the end of her life in the 1990s. Lea was such a wonderful person that, decades later, I can remember how warm and helpful she was in navigating the legal decision-making with my mom. Always so professional and clear, she made a deep impression on all of us.
In the 1990’s our mother contacted Lea for estate planning. Lea was efficient, knowledgeable and an extremely nice person. We all were impressed with her superb professionalism; we are grateful to have known her.

To Lea’s family, colleagues and friends- I was sad to read about Lea’s passing- For over thirty-five years, Lea was a wonderful mentor and colleague who shared her knowledge and experiences freely for the betterment of all! It was always a good day each time I found out Lea was opposing counsel- she advocated for her clients with much compassion and worked professionally as a very skilled attorney! Lea is one of the finest human beings I was fortunate to know for the duration of my practice !
So sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family.

To Duane, Ian and all of your familly. Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Lea. We share so many happy memories spent with you all! Lea’s life is an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
My husband and I retained Lea’s services for many years as he navigated Multiple Sclerosis and the many legalities during the course of his illness. Her kindness and empathy will always be with me. She personally guided us through some of the most difficult experiences and decisions of our lives. When he passed she sent me a note telling me I had handled his illness with “grace and love. What a comfort those beautiful sentiments were to me. Those same sentiments can be attributed to her lifetime of work. May God bless her and bring peace to her family.
Lea enriched the lives of many. A true Mensch.
She will be greatly missed.
