I was deeply saddened by the passing of Jack Kanell. As the son-in-law of Ted Kanell, one of Jack’s older brothers – a man for whom I had great love and respect – I genuinely enjoyed spending time with Jack and his wonderful wife Cynthia. For decades I observed his extraordinary love and pride for his entire family. He celebrated their achievements and was impacted by their challenges. Always ready to smile and share terrific family stories, spending time with Jack was special, indeed.
