Dear Hyla and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of Ivan. He was such a nice guy, and gentleman. As a former high school classmate, it was nice to see Ivan in business, and class reunions. May the fond and loving memories you have of him, give you comfort, strength and peace in the days ahead.
Sincerely, Rosemary (Roe) DeLizio Schaeffer

My family expresses our sadness to Brian and his entire family for the loss of Mr. Chasnoff. Brian recently shared with me the excitement and fondness he shared with his father over the Corvette Club and the trip to Pennsylvania. I could see a spark in Brian’s face as he told about such events that meant a lot to his father.

We are so saddened about Ivan’s passing. As new friends, we knew pretty quickly that we wanted to know Ivan better! He was direct, intelligent and genuine. We were looking forward to spending many more fun times together post-pandemic. Our hearts are breaking for you today-may you find strength through the love you have for each other to get through these challenging days. Andi and Wayne

Our lives came together because we had a common friend, Judy. Ivan and I shared a love of cars, and racing, Indeed he was a collector of cars, including his beloved split window Corvette Coup and his Jeepster. Small rock venues and bands. He was a mechanic and craftsman, as I was. Good food, but I was medium rare, and he was well well done.

He was independent, working for himself and with others who were also independently minded. He was intellectually curious, empathetic and challenging.

Now Ivan is no longer physically with us, he lives in our memory. Thank you Ivan for your friendship, I am richer for having known you.
God speed … David and Judy Holbrook
