Miriam and family,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of Jerry. I have known him for many years professionally during the many years he worked at Uniroyal. I admired his thoughtfulness in debates connected with making decisions on investing in the re-registrations and registrations of agricultural products. He was one of my important sources in making decisions about the products which fell in my area of responsibility. I then became more acquainted with Jerry during our shared retirement years meeting for coffee on Wednesdays in Cheshire and later via Zoom get togethers. He was a God fearing man. It was a pleasure to listen to your son’s recollections of his father this morning. I thank God for making Jerry and allowing me to know him a little in this secular world. I look forward to promised times in the future. May God bless you all as you celebrate his life. John Westcott
I will cherish my memmories of Jerry and the things we did together. My sincere condolances go out to Miriam, Josh and Hallie on their loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. Gerry was one of the nicest people I knew at Uniroyal. He was one of the first people to make me feel like part of the team, and it was always a good day when he came to Health Services for his annual physical exam. We would talk and laugh and it was clear to see how liked and admired he was by his colleagues. His passing is a loss to everyone who knew him. I hope that all your wonderful memories are a comfort to you during this difficult time. Harriet Aaronson
Esther and I were very saddened by this news. Gerry was a friendly, kind man. Always a smile and pleasant word for everyone. May God comfort Miriam and the family at this time.

Gerry was an always smiling, and knowledgable, and dedicated member of the American Chemical Society – New Haven for 62 years. His contributions to the section and as a friend to many of us involved with the section throughout his tenure are innumerable. He will be missed greatly.
So sorry to hear about Jerry. I am also a chemist and would see him at local and national events. He was always a pleasure to be around. He had a great smile and would show interest in whatever work you were presenting.
Lila and I join minyon members, Men’s Club members and neighbors to cherish memories of Gerry as our outstanding friend. When a Shiva minyon needed him, when we needed help with the Second Seder, and for so many other mitvahs, calling Gerry was an easy call. We are saddened at this news. Gordon & Lila, Spring Glen
