Elliot was a good person. I am sorry I did not see the obituary. We went to high school together and I was proud to have him in my wedding party. Sorry I missed his service.

Elliot was a dear friend of mine for 50 years. And just like in a 50 year marriage…there were some rough spots, but we always managed to forgive each other and regroup. He introduced me to the excitement and elegance of New York City and the theater circuit and we also traveled to England and France and Canada on a number of occasions. I will always be indebted to him for all that he taught me about cooking and Opera and fine dining. Because of Elliot, I was enabled to meet such notables as Jacques Pepin, the famed French Chef and Montserrat Caballe, the famous Spanish opera star.

Rest in peace, my dear friend and may you be reunited with your Mom and Dad and your brother, Howard. My heart goes out to Elliot’s remaining brother, Michael and to his best friend, Stephen, who cared for him during his last days.

My condolences to Elliot’s family and friends. He was an insightful, witty, personable and humorous man, and will be greatly missed. God rest his soul.
