To the Marcus Family:
I just learned of “Uncle Eddie’s” passing. I remember his visits to California and my summer spent at his home with my late sister – always entertaining and interesting. He projected a “tough and ruthless” image but my father and the rest of my family always knew he was a “softy” at heart. I will always have fond memories of time together, now many years ago.
Very sorry for your and our loss. All the best to the Marcus family –
Charles Marcus and family, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

To the Marcus Family,

I am deeply saddened to learn of Ed’s passing He was a noble warrior in all things politics. I was his opposition, but only on election Day.

We learned a lot from each other.
But it was I who learned mostly from him. He was a brilliant man and an honorable friend.

Very sorry for your loss.

Chris

Ed and my late step-father Judge Norton Levine shared a unique friendship forged by a love of politics, the legal profession, family and Yale. Although Norty died in 1991 Ed still remembered by mother Lydia until she passed at age in 2020 at the age of 100. Sincerest condolences to the Marcus family.

I can’t possibly count the number of times he helped me prepare a story. He always would call me back (even if I knew he didn’t like the topic). Thank you Ed and sincerest condolences to Jill, Shelley and your entire family.

Dear Shelley, Susan, Nicki, Jill and the Marcus Family; I am so sorry for your loss. Edward was a remarkable, brilliant man who loved his children deeply. I will always remember fondly his various words of wisdom that he shared with me over the years. At 92 he was still playing tennis and he said his secret was to keep the mind & body active. May he now enjoy playing tennis with the angels.
