We are so sorry to hear about Ed. He was such a wonderful man, and always great to talk to. We had many conversations about food and cooking which we all enjoyed. Our love to the family, our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Julie, Ed’s Family and Sigma Phi Epsilon Brothers,
Ed was my big brother in Sigma Phi Epsilon. As with me, he touched the lives of many over the years with kind words, sage advice and humor. He was a light in the lives of everyone he encountered. The world has lost a great man, but his influence will live on. We will miss him greatly. Sending much love and prayers for each of you during this difficult time.

Dear Julie and family,

We wish to most fondly recall conversations with Ed about plants, and dogs, and his stories about New Haven. He always had such a warmth about him, and a jovial comment on hand. We shall miss him as a neighbor, and as a person with great humanity. With prayers that you find strength at this time of loss.

Dearest Julie & Families –
Ed’s robust spirit will live on in all of us – every time we go to a show, eat a great meal, drive around New Haven. I feel blessed to have called him friend, and will certainly miss his big laugh, storytelling, and perspective on all things pop culture. Much love and prayers to him and to all of you during this time of spiritual transition.

Julie and Ed’s family – I worked with Ed for many years at BMS. He was exceptionally intelligent, humorous, and a good friend to many. I am saddened by his passing.

May your memories be a blessing.
