Barry was a visionary and a scientist and an artist but first of all he was a generous human being. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by the many beautiful memories that he leaves behind!
So sorry to hear of Barry’s passing
I had known Barry for 65 years through my brother Lew. Barry and Lew were the closest
of friends in Far Rockaway and as Barry often said Lew was the brother he never had,
I read journeys when I heard the sad news and looked at the 3 Zarets I have hanging in my home.A gift from my brother after his passing Dr. Zaret may you rest in peace
You will be missed
Elliott and the whole family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.
I was an employee in the Cardiology Dept under Dr. Zaret’s Chairmanship during the late 80’s and retiring in 2004. There are no words to describe Dr. Zaret. He was one of the finest human beings I ever had the honor and pleasure of knowing. His death was a tragic loss to his family, loved ones, counteless colleagues, students, friends and thousands of patients! May his family find comfort in all the priceless memories of him. Rest in peace Dr. Z.
Me and my mother are long time congregants of Bn’ai Jacob, and remember Dr. Zaret for his regular shofer blowing on the high holidays. His death was a tragic loss.
With deepest condolances,
Attorney Daniel H. Schneider
I am very sorry to learn of Dr. Zaret’s passing. I knew him as a fellow and later as a faculty member in the Yale University School of Medicine, Section of Cardiovascular Medicine. I am sending my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. May his memory be a blessing. Those who trained under him are forever grateful and will carry on his mission as we care for patients with heart disease.
